Africa has so many wonderfully unique flavours, personalities and fashions that when you go anywhere else, you sorely miss them. We at African Products Australia are on a mission to close the gap for Australians, both natural and immigrant, by sourcing those fantastic products and delivering them straight to your door.

Our owner/operator, Memory, has over 30 years of experience as a hairdresser. She began to ply her trade in regions of Africa such as Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa before moving to Australia in 2008. Throughout her journey, Memory has gained incredible knowledge of the styles and products which work best for different hairstyles and ethnicities. This is why she ensures that she stocks a variety of hair products and knows how each product will impact your unique hair.

Since making the move to Australia, Memory continued to trade as a hairdresser and eventually opened her own salon. However, she noticed a gap in the market for other African merchandise and began to sell a few African products from her store. With the continued popularity of the products, African Products Australia was born: to spread the African love by shipping Australia wide.

With our passion for bringing a taste of Africa to Australia, we import particular African staples such as Nyimo, Iwisa Samp and Soya Chunks. If it is the sweet African flavours you miss, then our supply for Mazoe syrups or Red Label lemon cream biscuits might interest you. The vibrancy of African fashion is as much a beloved trait as is the flavours of home. This is why we always stock a wide variety of African dresses, shirts, shorts and suits for both men and women. Our range is varied for all shapes and sizes, but if the piece you love isn’t in your size, we would be happy to source it for you.

We are well aware that we are privileged to be able to provide these tastes of Africa to you here in Australia. Not all Africans are this fortunate, which is why 10% of all profits made by African Products Australia will be donated back to an African charity. Our charities of focus are those working to provide better education, health and quality water to poor communities. We believe these are necessities which no one should go without. This is our small way of giving back to the country which made us so unique.
